- Outdoor kitchens. One of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors is dining alfresco. And this spring, creating elaborate outdoor kitchens — complete with grills, luxury appliances and fun add-ons like pizza ovens — are a major trend, giving homeowners the opportunity to not only dine outside, but cook as well.
- Nature-inspired hues. Thinking about replacing your outdoor furniture? Embrace one of spring’s biggest outdoor furniture trends and go for nature-inspired hues, like navy blue or green chair cushions, or a floral area rug.
- Small spaces. You don’t need a huge deck in order to create an oasis in your backyard. Smaller outdoor spaces (like tiny patios or small screened porches) are having a major moment this spring. Even if you don’t have a lot of space to work with, take advantage of the space you do have, and create a cozy outdoor gathering spot to enjoy during the warmer months.
